We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Cheerleading and Dance Coach to lead our cheer and dance program. Duties
- Teach cheerleading techniques, routines, and stunts while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Teach dance technique and routines while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Manage behavior during practices and events, fostering a supportive atmosphere.
- Organize and conduct regular practices, ensuring all participants are engaged and improving.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to coordinate schedules and events.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration regarding team activities.
- Monitor the physical fitness of team members and provide guidance on health and wellness.
- Encourage participation in competitions while promoting sportsmanship and respect among athletes.
Requirements
- Experience in sports coaching or related fields such as gymnastics, karate, basketball, or swim is preferred.
- Strong behavior management skills to effectively lead and motivate students.
- Previous experience working with children or youth in an educational or recreational setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of cheerleading and dance techniques and safety measures is essential.
- Ability to educate participants on physical fitness principles related to cheerleading.
