What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Staff position at Athletes in Action?
Summary of Position: As Event Staff you will provide an excellent experience to clients and guests using SCRC (Sports Complex and Recreation Center) fields, facilities, and equipment by fulfilling daily setup and tear down, service, safety, and communication functions. You will play an important role in creating a positive experience for those who come on our campus.
This is a part-time position with varying hours (evenings and occasional weekends). We will work with your schedule!
About Us: Athletes in Action is the sports ministry of Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ). Our mission is to see Christ followers on every team in every sport in every nation. On our 250 acre athletic complex we host local, regional and international events, including sport events, camps, meetings, and banquets.
Details about the role:
- Display a positive attitude and flexibility toward associates, management, AIA staff, and guests
- Connect with, and be available to the lead coach or group director throughout their event
- Observe and report safety hazards and equipment or facilities needing repair or replacement
- Complete assigned duties checklist for field activity or event (including setup, tear down, security, and cleaning, etc.)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.11 - $12.53 per hour
