What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales Associate position at Athlete To Athlete?
About Athlete To Athlete
Athlete to Athlete is a fast-growing, venture-backed start-up based in Santa Monica that offers Athletic Mentorship and Coaching Programs for youth athletes. In our programs, student-athletes are paired with a current Division 1 College-Athlete Mentor who plays their sport and can help build their confidence, taking their game to the next level. Our mission is to build the next generation of driven, confident, and resilient student-athletes through mentorship.
About The Role
In this role, your responsibilities will focus on converting marketing leads into paying customers. This includes, but is not limited to, booking introductory meetings between the parents and mentors, ensuring the sessions go off without issue, and, most importantly, closing sales after the initial meetings conclude. Throughout the process, you will serve as a source of knowledge for clients, addressing any inquiries they may have, with the ultimate goal of successfully introducing young athletes to the program. You will primarily communicate with prospective customers via SMS messages, emails, and phone calls.
You will work closely with our marketing and operations teams to most effectively coordinate efforts across the company and continuously improve our sales funnel. This is an on-site position based in Santa Monica, CA.
Key Responsibilities
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans. If you would like more information about how your data is processed, please contact us.
