The Athlete Support Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless and supportive experience for athletes and patients throughout their rehabilitation and performance journey. As the first point of contact at Athlete Restoration Lab (ReLab), this position manages front desk operations while also coordinating athlete and patient flow between rehabilitation and sports performance services. By providing exceptional service and operational support, the Athlete Support Coordinator helps bridge the gap between recovery and peak performance, ensuring every individual receives the highest level of care and attention.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk & Administrative Support
- Greet and check in athletes, patients, and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience.
- Manage appointment scheduling, phone inquiries, check-ins/check-outs, and payment processing.
- Maintain accurate records, data entry, and ensure compliance with clinic protocols.
- Assist with insurance verification, billing inquiries, and documentation as needed.
Athlete & Patient Coordination
- Guide and support athletes and patients as they transition between rehabilitation and sports performance sessions.
- Provide clear communication between clinicians, performance coaches, and patients to ensure smooth operations.
- Address athlete and patient questions, concerns, and service requests promptly.
Operational & Facility Support
- Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked front desk and treatment areas.
- Support clinicians and performance staff with operational needs, including setting up treatment areas and equipment.
- Monitor clinic and training schedules to help coordinate efficient flow of athletes and patients.
Qualifications:
- Experience in customer service, healthcare administration, fitness, or sports performance preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and athlete care.
- Basic knowledge of medical or sports performance terminology is a plus.
- Proficiency in scheduling software, Microsoft Office, and administrative systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clinicians, performance coaches, and administrative staff.
Schedule & Growth Opportunity:
- Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM, with flexibility to support shifts at our Plano and Southlake locations.
- As clinic volume grows, this role has the potential to expand into a full-time position.
