Role Description The General Manager is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Nashville, TN, responsible for overseeing daily store operations and driving overall business performance. This role leads, coaches, and develops the store team to deliver exceptional customer experiences that reflect Athleta’s active, purpose-driven brand. The General Manager manages staffing, scheduling, and workload planning, ensuring operational excellence in visual merchandising, inventory management, and store presentation. They analyze sales and performance metrics, set goals, and implement strategies to grow revenue and profitability while maintaining high standards of compliance and safety. The General Manager partners closely with cross-functional teams, champions company initiatives, and fosters a collaborative, inclusive culture that engages the local community and supports Athleta’s mission.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership and people management skills, including experience supervising, coaching, and developing diverse teams.
