What are the responsibilities and job description for the Database Developer position at aThingz Inc.?
6 years relevant experience in working with MS SQL Server – 2008/2008R2/2012 is mandatory
Very Strong experience in RDBMS concepts, DB design, modeling of OLTP/DW systems
Hands-on experience in MS SQL Server Programming
Should be able to understand/design the datamodel,
Should have experience in datamodel tools e.g ERWIN
Understand the star schema and snowflake schema
Creating tables, views, stored procedures and functions
Creating indeces to improve database performance
Reviewing query performance and optimizing code
Technical support to resolve support issues
Experience on Data warehousing is preferred
Hands on experience with SSIS is a plus.
Experience on Azure is an advantage
Having working knowledge in any of the reporting tools would be an added advantage (e.g SSRS, Power BI)

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
