About the Role


We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Technology Sales Consultant to help grow our software development and consulting business by identifying, engaging, and closing new client opportunities.


This is a commission-only independent contractor position with uncapped earning potential. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys building relationships, generating new business, and helping organizations solve operational challenges through technology.


Our firm specializes in custom software development, systems integration, business process automation, cloud solutions, reporting and analytics, and technology consulting. We work with organizations that need tailored solutions to improve efficiency, streamline operations, and support growth.


You will not be starting from scratch!


We maintain a growing prospect database of businesses that may benefit from our services, providing you with qualified opportunities to pursue while also encouraging independent business development efforts. Successful candidates will combine relationship-building skills with a proactive sales mindset to create and close new opportunities.


Success in this role is measured by your ability to generate revenue, build long-term client relationships, and consistently develop new business opportunities.


Responsibilities


  • Engage with prospects from the company's growing lead and prospect database.


  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, social selling, email outreach, and other sales activities.


  • Develop relationships with business owners, executives, department leaders, and key decision-makers.


  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand client challenges, objectives, and technology needs.


  • Present and communicate the value of custom software development, systems integration, automation, reporting solutions, and consulting services.


  • Coordinate with technical and leadership teams to develop proposals and solution recommendations.


  • Manage opportunities throughout the sales lifecycle from initial contact through contract execution.


  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status.


  • Meet or exceed agreed-upon sales and revenue goals.


  • Represent the company professionally and ethically in all interactions.


Qualifications


  • Previous experience in B2B sales, business development, account management, consulting sales, or technology sales is preferred.


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.


  • Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.


  • Ability to communicate effectively with business owners and executive-level decision-makers.


  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities.


  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.


  • Experience selling software, IT services, SaaS solutions, consulting services, or other professional services is a plus.


  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools is preferred.


  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build a high-income opportunity through performance-based compensation.
