Financial Controller

Position Title: Financial Controller
Reports to: Fractional CFO

Purpose of the Role:
The Financial Controller will manage the end-to-end financial reporting and analysis process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and insightful reporting for operational and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage comprehensive monthly management reports covering revenue, profitability, and key operational metrics (over 100 metrics).
• Conduct detailed divisional analyses (Storage, Moving – local, storage, international), profitability analyses including net profit determination based on activity-based costing methodologies.
• Perform bridge and variance analyses, comparing various periods and highlighting trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
• Manage quantitative analyses, including POD performance, revenue per CBM, leads generation metrics, cost per lead, and Google Ads spend analytics.
• Address ad hoc financial queries and operational performance questions raised by the CEO.
• Oversee cash flow management and forecasting, ensuring optimal liquidity management.
• Provide scenario analysis and financial forecasts to support business expansion plans, pricing strategies, and resource allocation decisions.
• Collaborate closely with the Data Analyst and Business Controller/ Senior Financial Analyst to ensure accurate and insightful reporting.
• Facilitate financial training and development for operational teams, promoting financial literacy and strategic alignment.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant, ACCA, or equivalent financial qualification.
• , controlling, or related experience.
• Strong experience of closely working with sales and operations teams.
• Proficient in financial modelling, Excel, and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,866.00 - $109,745.00 per year
