Licensed Veterinary Technician

We’re a growing, 2-doctor rural practice in Athens, MI, serving primarily dogs and cats—with some work with pigs, goats, sheep, cattle, and horses. We have a sister large animal clinic in Battle Creek.
We’re looking for a Veterinary Technician who is:
· Passionate about the client–pet–staff bond
· Confident & skilled in all aspects of patient care
· Physically capable of heavy lifting and active, hands-on work
· Flexible with hours, including occasional weekends
· A positive, motivated team player eager to learn and grow
· Enthusiastic, adaptable, and self-motivated
What You’ll Do:
· Assist doctors in medical, surgical, and diagnostic procedures
· Manage and maintain the surgical suite
· Provide ICU care, place IV catheters, perform phlebotomy
· Manage lab testing
· Communicate with and educate clients
· Maintain accurate patient records and billing
· Manage medications and clinic inventory

Requirements:
· LVT licensed in MI

Pay is based on experience and skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Base Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
