Position: Research Coordinator

Location: Athens Campus

Department: Institutional Effectiveness

Reports to: Executive Director of Institutional Effectiveness

Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. State of Georgia benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the extraction and compilation of data and publication of college-wide reports such as, but not limited to, the annual Fact Book and Service Area County Profiles.
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, data analysis, accreditation, and project tracking software.
• Produce visually appealing reports or presentations for the department as needed.
• Perform descriptive or thematic analysis of data available to the department.
• Learn and use software platforms for surveying, conducting, planning, and outcome assessment functions, updating the college catalog, or other departmental functions.
• Perform file management and storage, process office transactions according to college specifications, maintain timelines of routine tasks, take meeting minutes, assist with events involving the AA/IE division, and assist with overall office organization.
• Create and maintain a filing system for accreditation and special project files.
• Assist in the use and maintenance of a web-based site used for sharing information with other college stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Two (2) years related work experience.

Note: Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis

Preferred Qualifications:

• One (1) to two (2) years of work experience in a higher education setting.
• Advanced skills with technology and data analysis.
• Work experience in research, institutional effectiveness, or quality assurance.
