At Athens Health and Rehabilitation, we're looking for a dependable and hardworking Full-Time Laundry Aide to join our Day Shift team.

Position Overview
The Laundry Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary supply of resident clothing, linens, bedding, and other washable items throughout the facility.
You'll work as part of our Environmental Services team to ensure laundry is properly washed, dried, folded, organized, and returned to the appropriate residents and areas of the facility.
What You'll Do
- Wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens
- Sort laundry appropriately before washing
- Ensure residents' personal clothing is properly handled and returned
- Maintain an adequate supply of clean linens throughout the facility
- Follow established laundry, sanitation, and infection-control procedures
- Operate laundry equipment safely and appropriately
- Keep the laundry room and work areas clean, organized, and sanitary
- Report damaged equipment or safety concerns promptly
- Handle residents' personal belongings with care and respect
- Assist the Environmental Services/Housekeeping team as needed
- Follow all facility policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements

Previous laundry, housekeeping, environmental services, or long-term care experience is a plus, but not required.
