What You'll Do
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you'll provide direct resident care while helping create a safe, comfortable, and compassionate environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining
- Take and record vital signs
- Observe and report changes in resident condition
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident care
- Work closely with nurses and the interdisciplinary team
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and families
- Help ensure residents receive the dignity, respect, and compassionate care they deserve
Required
- Current Alabama Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
- Ability to perform the essential physical requirements of the position
- Previous long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
