Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Concrete Foreman/Finisher to oversee and manage concrete projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with concrete finishing, site supervision, and crew leadership. A clean driver's license and a clean accident record for the past 3 years are required. Candidates must have strong knowledge of forming and pouring concrete and be experienced operating skid steers and Bobcats. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and committed to delivering top-quality work on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily job site operations, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are met.
- Supervise and direct a team of concrete workers and laborers.
- Read and interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
- Set forms, pour, spread, level, and finish concrete surfaces such as floors, sidewalks, curbs, and slabs.
- Operate and maintain finishing tools, hand tools, power trowels, and other necessary equipment.
- Operate skid steers, Bobcats, and other related equipment safely and efficiently.
- Plan material and labor needs for projects; coordinate with project managers and suppliers.
- Ensure all work meets specifications and client expectations.
- Enforce safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Train and mentor crew members to improve skills and work quality.
Qualifications:
- 4 years of concrete experience, with at least 1 years in a leadership or foreman role.
- Strong knowledge of concrete materials, forming, pouring, finishing techniques, and curing processes.
- Experience operating skid steers, Bobcats, and other construction equipment.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction documents.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.
- Clean driver's license and a clean accident record for the last 3 years.
- Reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CDL license is a plus.
- Experience with decorative concrete, stamping, or polishing.
