Technical Targeting Officer

Description

Athenix Solutions Group is looking for a Technical Targeting Officer to work out of McLean, VA. Successful Technical Targeting Officer candidates will support cutting-edge intelligence operations using specialized, state-of-the-art tools and technologies while working in an integrated government-contractor team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated experience supporting initiatives that span across organization, internal and external mission partners
• Demonstrated experience working with cyber security research, analysis, and forensic techniques to exploit technical data
• Demonstrated ability to gather data and analyze user needs to determine, recommend, and implement project plans and proposals for operational integration
• Demonstrated experience with network and computer security
• Demonstrated experience creating strategic plans, technical project plans, and roadmaps
• Demonstrated experience communicating information to both technical and non-technical personnel, both verbally and via presentations
  
  

Requirements

Desired Technologies/Tools:

• Demonstrated experience supporting initiatives that span across organization, internal and external mission partners
• Demonstrated experience working with cyber security research, analysis, and forensic techniques to exploit technical data
• Demonstrated ability to gather data and analyze user needs to determine, recommend, and implement project plans and proposals for operational integration
• Demonstrated experience with networking and computer security
• Demonstrated experience creating strategic plans, technical project plans, and roadmaps
• Demonstrated experience communicating information to both technical and non-technical personnel, both verbally and via presentations
• Demonstrated experience with technical operations development and support to the cyber mission
• Demonstrated experience working with Sponsor’s field offices
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance required
• CompTIA Security Certification
• Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Certified Penetration Tester – GPEN, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or equivalent
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in Intelligence Operations / Analysis / Support to Field Operations
• Experience identifying targeting leads through the exploitation of all-source databases and specialized tools
• Experience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices
• Formal training or certification as a Technical Targeter
• Overseas experience supporting collection operations and information sharing
