Athenix Solutions Group is looking for a Technical Targeting Officer to work out of McLean, VA. Successful Technical Targeting Officer candidates will support cutting-edge intelligence operations using specialized, state-of-the-art tools and technologies while working in an integrated government-contractor team.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated experience supporting initiatives that span across organization, internal and external mission partners
- Demonstrated experience working with cyber security research, analysis, and forensic techniques to exploit technical data
- Demonstrated ability to gather data and analyze user needs to determine, recommend, and implement project plans and proposals for operational integration
- Demonstrated experience with network and computer security
- Demonstrated experience creating strategic plans, technical project plans, and roadmaps
- Demonstrated experience communicating information to both technical and non-technical personnel, both verbally and via presentations

Desired Technologies/Tools:
- Demonstrated experience supporting initiatives that span across organization, internal and external mission partners
- Demonstrated experience working with cyber security research, analysis, and forensic techniques to exploit technical data
- Demonstrated ability to gather data and analyze user needs to determine, recommend, and implement project plans and proposals for operational integration
- Demonstrated experience with networking and computer security
- Demonstrated experience creating strategic plans, technical project plans, and roadmaps
- Demonstrated experience communicating information to both technical and non-technical personnel, both verbally and via presentations
- Demonstrated experience with technical operations development and support to the cyber mission
- Demonstrated experience working with Sponsor’s field offices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of relevant professional experience
- Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance required
- CompTIA Security Certification
- Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Certified Penetration Tester – GPEN, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or equivalent
Desired qualifications:
- Experience in Intelligence Operations / Analysis / Support to Field Operations
- Experience identifying targeting leads through the exploitation of all-source databases and specialized tools
- Experience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices
- Formal training or certification as a Technical Targeter
- Overseas experience supporting collection operations and information sharing
