Responsibilities
- Welcome guests, escort them to tables, present menus, and answer questions about menu.
- Take accurate food and drink orders, making suggestions including specials and beverages, and noting any special dietary needs.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth order flow and support other servers as needed.
- Promptly and professionally deliver food and beverages to tables, ensuring timely service.
- Clear finished courses, reset tables with utensils and condiments, and maintain the overall cleanliness and order of the dining area.
- Issue bills and accurately process cash and credit card payments.
- Check on guests, address any concerns, and ensure a pleasant and satisfying dining experience.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all menu items, specials, and drink options.
- Assist with restaurant opening and closing duties as required.
Qualifications
- Ability to provide a friendly and welcoming experience.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- The ability to remain efficient and organized in a busy restaurant setting.
- Experience as a Server, Waitstaff or Customer Service a plus
