Accountabilities:
- Provide technical product expertise to support the development, testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of insurance products and administration system enhancements.
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies, tools, and validation processes to ensure the accuracy of product calculations, illustrations, and system functionality.
- Perform complex insurance product calculations, analyze unique scenarios, and develop manual solutions for calculations not supported by existing systems.
- Develop and maintain automation solutions using Visual Basic and other technologies to improve data management, streamline product implementation, and reduce manual effort.
- Create and maintain documentation for testing methodologies, automation tools, system functionality, and operational procedures while identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement.
- Collaborate across business and technology teams to solve complex problems, improve operational efficiency, and support successful product launches.
- 3 years of insurance operations, product administration, product implementation, systems analysis, or related experience in the insurance or financial services industry, or relevant experience.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access to analyze, validate, and manage data.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and critical thinking skills with the ability to solve complex business and technical problems.
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Basic or similar programming/automation tools preferred; curiosity and AI fluency to leverage automation technologies that improve quality and efficiency are highly valued.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly to changing business needs, collaborate across teams, and drive continuous improvement with a bias for action.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and applicable work experience.
