Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to provide specialized home-based wound care throughout Olympia, WA and surrounding cities. This is a mobile role with weekday hours only. The ideal candidate is independent, compassionate, and thrives in a low-stress, patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive wound care assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Work autonomously and collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals.
- Perform telehealth/virtual visits as permitted by state laws.
- Document patient progress and care in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prescribe medications when clinically indicated.
- Travel to patient homes with mileage reimbursement provided.
- Administer medications in accordance with care plans
- Option to round in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) or Rehabilitation settings when available.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP, APRN) with a Master's degree from an accredited program.
- Preferably 1 year of experience in primary care, internal medicine, urgent care, or wound care.
- Prior experience in hospital critical care (ER or ICU) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Compassionate bedside manner and ability to work independently.
- Must be self-driven and able to manage time and workload effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
