Overview
We are seeking a Public Safety Sales Executive & School Safety Advisor—a role specifically designed for a retired Chief of Police to transition their command experience into a high-impact Sales and Consulting career.
Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will translate executive-level security needs into technology solutions while providing specialized consulting in school safety and active shooter preparedness.
KEY Responsibilties:
- Executive Relationship Building: Lead outbound prospecting and sales efforts, engaging with Schools and Government offices.
- Full-Cycle Sales Ownership: Manage the sales process from initial discovery and qualifying to high-stakes contract negotiation and closing.
- Pipeline Management: Use your professional network to identify high-value opportunities and maintain a robust pipeline within the GovTech and EdTech sectors.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the primary advisor for School Safety initiatives, offering consultative insights that build trust and credibility with clients.
- Training & Preparedness: Lead Active Shooter Training sessions and site safety audits as a value-added service for prospective and current customers.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure all proposed security ecosystems meet current industry standards and law enforcement best practices.
- Trade Show Leadership: Attend and lead presence at conferences to represent Athena Security.
- Strategic Messaging: Collaborate with marketing to ensure product demos, scripts, and case studies are tactically accurate and resonate with the first-responder community.
Success Metrics:
- Sales Targets: Meet or exceed quarterly quotas for sales-qualified leads and closed-won revenue.
- Strategic Growth: Successful expansion of Athena’s footprint in Government or School vertical.
- Event Readiness: Trade shows and field meetings are executed with professional, executive-level precision.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year Commission (OTE: $125k )
Work Location: Jacksonville, FL 32257: Relocate before starting work (Required).
