About the Role
Athena Security is looking for an experienced Product Trainer to train both our customers and internal teams (new hires and existing employees) on how to use our technology effectively and confidently. This is an onsite role based in Jacksonville, FL, and plays a critical part in ensuring product success, user adoption, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead onsite product training sessions for customers, end-users, and partners.
- Conduct employee training during onboarding and ongoing learning sessions for current staff.
- Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, presentations, and instructional videos.
- Customize training content to suit different audiences (security personnel, engineers, sales teams, etc.).
- Offer hands-on support during training and follow-ups to ensure knowledge retention.
- Stay up to date with product updates and translate changes into internal and external training programs.
- Track training attendance, progress, and gather feedback to improve training effectiveness.
- Serve as a liaison between users and product teams by sharing common questions or suggestions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a trainer, ideally in a tech, hardware, or security-focused environment.
- Strong presentation and communication skills — comfortable with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to adapt training styles to match audience needs and experience levels.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple training projects simultaneously.
- Tech-savvy and confident using iPads, MDM software, and troubleshooting basic technical issues.
- Based in Jacksonville, FL and available to work onsite full-time.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client trainings.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with security technology, surveillance systems, or managed device platforms.
- Background in customer success, IT support, or employee onboarding.
