Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Operate POS Square systems to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with precision and integrity
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of the cashier station, dining area, and food prep zones in compliance with sanitation standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, including assembling orders or preparing simple menu items
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service and minimize wait times
- Support food safety protocols by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or retail environments preferred; restaurant or quick service & fast food experience highly valued
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and managing sales totals accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
