We are hiring weekend on-call Registered Nurses to join our dynamic care team with Hospice Services of Massachusetts!
4:30p Friday to 8:30a Monday. $640 for the weekend and an additional $190 per admission and $90 per visit. Mileage reimbursement. This is an on-the-road position, and the candidate must have a reliable and insured vehicle and be willing to travel.

Education & Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Must hold an active and unencumbered RN license in Massachusetts and be CPR certified.
- Prior hospice experience required.
- Responds to on-call messages that may include making recommendations via phone and making visits.
- Complete a comprehensive assessment of patient and family to determine hospice eligibility and care needs.
- Provide nursing care.
- Complete clinical notes regarding patient condition and care given.
- Supervise hospice CNAs.
- Teach patients and loved ones self-care techniques as appropriate.
- Provide appropriate support at time of death.
- Initiate plan of care and make revisions as patient status and needs change.
- Assess and evaluate patient status.
- Work with interdisciplinary team to meet the emotional needs of the patient and loved ones.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Candidate must possess strong observation, verbal and written communication, problem-solving, basic math, and nursing skills.
