At Berkshire Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center, we pride ourselves on our commitment to delivering exceptional care and services to our residents. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Sunday Cook to join our culinary team and help us maintain our high standards of culinary excellence.

$20 an hour with weekly pay.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and plate resident meals in accordance with therapeutic diets ordered by physicians
• Ensure the proper serving temperature of food and maintain its visual appeal
• Monitor daily nourishments, follow standardized recipes, and adhere to sanitation and storage policies
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with residents, families, and colleagues
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Dining Services
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Prior culinary experience required
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to make independent decisions and work harmoniously with personnel, residents, and families
• Knowledge of dining service procedures and related laws, regulations, and guidelines
• Leadership ability, willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise professional and non-professional personnel
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm when interacting with residents and colleagues
• Ability to maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, and the appearance of work areas
