Smoking Attendant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate Smoking Attendant to join our dynamic care team at Cape Heritage Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Sandwich. As a Smoking Attendant, you will provide a clean and orderly smoking environment for our residents, ensuring their safety and comfort. This is a FULL-TIME opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of $18 HOURLY and weekly pay.

9a-5p shift.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with smoking, lighting materials, and transporting them to and from the designated smoking area
• Maintain a clean designated smoking area for residents
• Transport residents to and from the smoking area, ensuring their safety
• Demonstrate correct safety techniques and respect for facility equipment and supplies
• Contribute to effective communication and pleasant working conditions
  
  
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or its equivalent
• On-the-job training provided
• CNA license preferred, but not necessary
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions and deal tactfully with personnel, residents, and visitors
• Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents
