Cape Heritage Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Sandwich is seeking an RN MDS Director, where you will play a crucial role in planning, organizing, and directing the MDS process for our residents.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the MDS process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of MDS reports
- Oversee resident care plans through clinical assessment, review of medical history, personal interviews, and completion of MDS reports
- Develop and maintain knowledge of current CMS regulatory guidelines and RAI Manual
- Ensure compliance with facility privacy policies and procedures and protect residents' individual health information
- Maintain adequate systems to ensure appropriate documents are sufficient to support billed service
- Coordinate MDS systems, resident assessment, and care plans for each resident
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care planning
- Provide leadership and supervisory support to ensure high-quality care and services
- Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited school of nursing, college or university
- Must possess an active and unencumbered RN license in Massachusetts
- At least one year experience in MDS
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents
