As a Companion II, you will provide supervision for safety and assistance to clients in activities of daily living to maintain them in their home. You will provide non-medical personal care to support clients living with physical, emotional, or cognitive impairments, including housekeeping duties, personal hygiene assistance, and more.

Job Summary:
As a Companion II, you will provide supervision for safety and assistance to clients in activities of daily living to maintain them in their home. You will provide non-medical personal care to support clients living with physical, emotional, or cognitive impairments, including housekeeping duties, personal hygiene assistance, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and eating/feeding
- Provide medication reminders
- Housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes, trash removal, laundry, changing bed sheets, etc.
- Drive clients to and from planned outings, events, or appointments, as needed
- Provide emotional and social support to clients
- Assist with grocery shopping and meal preparation
- Monitor the skin health of the client
- Application and maintenance of prosthetics and orthotics
- Report any changes in the client's status to appropriate team members
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Excellent customer service and listening skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have an active driver's license and an insured vehicle
- Access to a working telephone for communication with the client, family, and the team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with the client, family, and office staff
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Demonstrate the ability to make appropriate professional judgments
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
