Athena Care at Home is hiring an experienced Business Development Director to join our private duty agency in Connecticut!
Our agency provides non-medical home care to clients throughout the state to help individuals maintain their independence in their own homes. This is a salaried role with weekly pay and offers an incentive program. Candidate must be willing to travel; mileage reimbursed.

Requirements:
- A degree in marketing or business is preferred.
- At least two (2) years' experience in marketing/admissions (private duty, hospice, home health, etc.) required.
- Must have a valid driver's license as well as reliable and insured transportation.
- Candidate must be willing to travel throughout the market.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with the client, family, and office staff.
- Strong independent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- "Go-getter" mentality to contribute to census growth.
- Establish new partnerships as well as maintain established partnerships in the market to increase census and revenue.
- Implement effective marketing techniques that contribute to an increase in brand awareness and census growth.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and referral patterns to maximize growth strategies.
- Identify obstacles and present solutions to overcome.
- Develop and maintain marketing plans and initiatives.
- Track and evaluate referrals to determine top accounts.
- Schedule and conduct meetings with partners to maintain a relationship with the agency.
- Work alongside the team to determine areas of improvement to enhance services.
- Assist in the creation of marketing collateral.
- Meet with prospective families and accounts to discuss services.
- Participate in community events to enhance brand awareness, such as health fairs and other networking opportunities.
