Pay Rate: $3,000 – $3,500/Week (Based on Specialty & Experience)
Hours: 48 Hours/Week

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Travel Registered Nurses (RN) for multiple specialties including Emergency Room (ER), Operating Room (OR), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Medical-Surgical (Med Surg), and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) assignments.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience, excellent critical thinking skills, and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in fast-paced hospital environments. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of recent specialty experience and Epic EMR experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to patients across assigned specialties.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, treatments, and procedures according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes in status, and intervene appropriately.
• Collaborate with physicians, ancillary departments, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR system.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Follow hospital policies, infection prevention standards, and patient safety protocols.
• Participate in care coordination, handoff communication, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Adapt quickly to different hospital environments, workflows, and patient populations.

Specialty Requirements:

ER RN

• Experience managing emergency patients, triage, critical situations, and rapid assessments.

ICU RN

• Experience caring for critically ill patients, ventilated patients, and complex medical conditions.

OR RN

• Experience with surgical procedures, sterile technique, circulating duties, and perioperative care.

Med Surg RN

• Experience managing diverse adult medical-surgical patient populations, medication administration, and care coordination.

PACU RN

• Experience with post-operative recovery, airway management, pain control, and patient monitoring.

Requirements:

• Active RN License (Compact or State License as required)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the specialty applied
• Previous acute care hospital experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Additional certifications based on specialty (ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, etc.) preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
