Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Corporate Travel Salesperson to join our team. This role is responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and delivering tailored travel solutions to corporate clients. The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional residing in central Ohio with a strong understanding of the travel industry and a passion for exceeding revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and secure new corporate travel accounts through cold outreach, networking, and referrals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and growth
- Understand client travel needs and propose customized travel solutions and programs
- Present and sell corporate travel services, including air, hotel, ground transportation, and travel management solutions
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with clients
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service, suppliers) to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM systems
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred)
- 2–5 years of sales experience, preferably in corporate travel, hospitality, or related industries
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Familiarity with travel booking systems
- Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and accountability
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of corporate travel policies and expense management
- Experience with travel management companies (TMCs) or business travel services
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to analyze data and provide strategic recommendations
