Job Overview:

Business Development Representative

ATEX Technologies, Inc., an implantable medical textile manufacturer, seeks a dynamic team-oriented critical thinker, who is media marketing and sales driven.

The Ideal candidate will be adept at developing new business, growing quality leads, and identifying lucrative ventures though digital sales and integrated marketing platforms. The Business Development Representative will continuously engage cross-functionally with quality, product development, customer service, and manufacturing teams to ensure they are fluidly conversant in the company’s current and developing products. The top candidate will develop creative strategies to exceed the company’s sales goals. They will use their business acumen and strategy-building skills to identify productive ways to distinguish their company's products and brand from others in the medical implantable device marketplace.

Job Responsibilities:

- Outbound marketing/Lead Generation (email, press releases, ads, etc.)

- LinkedIn site management and lead generation

- Website profile maintenance (weekly updates and SEO management)

- Create and update Blogs, trade show calendars, and other relevant social media marketing tools

- Identify new options for effective outbound marketing.

- Identify sales opportunities of existing and developing technologies.

- Develop new and utilize existing industry contacts.

- Review and respond to inbound leads from multiple sources.

- Conduct market research to include the identification of relevant device targets for new business opportunities.

- Target customer opportunities and develop products with cross functional internal team members involvement.

- Complete international geographic analysis to identify market opportunities, ASP, target COGS, component cost, payer systems, etc.

- Analyze Regulatory bodies to identify impact on ATEX products, sales, and activities.

- Develop a database of target medical devices, impacts and opportunities.

- Assist in clinical research to identify new opportunities to support decision making when considering new device projects.

- Trade show coordination & attendance

- Additional responsibilities as determined.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in Textiles, Business, Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing or related field and a minimum of 1 - 3 years of experience in a related industry such as medical textiles, medical devices, biotech, pharma, or related industry. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, a willingness to learn new technology applications and a basic understanding of statistics and data analytics.
