Our family owned and operated tax firm is hiring a full-time Front Desk/Office Manager to work Monday through Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm. This is a permanent position with optional overtime opportunity during tax season. Candidate must be energetic, friendly, dependable, and professional with a polite demeanor and positive attitude. Previous experience working in an office setting highly preferred.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Greet clients professionally and offer refreshments to ensure a welcoming office experience.
- Answer and manage a multi-line phone system; accurately take messages and direct calls to the appropriate team members.
- Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, scanning, faxing, and mailing documents.
- Handle requests for information and provide accurate data in a timely manner.
- Monitor office inventory levels and place orders to maintain adequate supplies.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments efficiently.
- Conduct quality control checks on all scanned files to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
- Run errands as needed to support daily office operations.
- Perform additional administrative, clerical, and office support tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
- Demonstrates excellent phone etiquette and professional communication.
- Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with computers and common office software.
- Exhibits exceptional attention to detail and maintains high accuracy with all documents.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintains a strong work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to excellence
Pay: $20 - $24 per hour
