We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors by sweeping and mopping as needed.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including peeling vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
• Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low.
• Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely cleaning of dishes during peak service hours.

Skills

• Experience in a banquet, hotel, restaurant, or catering environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food service operations is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards hospitality and customer service.
• Basic culinary skills are advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
