We’re looking for an Embedded Firmware Engineer who’s excited to design and build real-world IoT devices from the ground up. In this role, you’ll work closely with a cross-functional team to take products from concept through production.
What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and validate firmware for embedded systems
- Collaborate with product managers and customers to define requirements and system architecture
- Support the full product lifecycle—from concept and prototyping to production
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to system-level decisions
- Develop and execute unit tests to ensure firmware quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development and production environments
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation
- Work cross-functionally with hardware, product, and customer teams
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in embedded systems or data communication device development
- Strong proficiency in C/C
- Experience with embedded communication protocols and interfaces (CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, GNSS, LTE-M, NB-IoT)
- Familiarity with BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) is a plus
- Experience with MCU platforms (e.g., Nordic, STM32) and RTOS environments (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or bare-metal)
- Comfortable working in a lab environment with hardware bring-up, testing, and debugging
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose root causes across hardware/software systems
- Organized, detail-oriented, and hands-on
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
