Position Summary:
The Foodservice Region Sales Manager drives company foodservice sales goals, strategy, and activities within the defined territory. As the team’s Segment Specialist, this role develops and implements a sales strategy and serves as a subject matter expert for the designated segment. The Region Manager monitors, analyzes and drives performance against sales goals for brokers across the territory.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed sales goals within the region.
- Serve as a team Segment Specialist, driving segment growth and strategy.
- Operate within annual spending budgets.
- Manage regional forecasting and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Optimize Contract Management accounts to grow sales profitably.
- Lead, train, and manage brokers.
- Conduct sales meetings, trade shows, distributor and operator sales calls.
- Negotiate distributor marketing programs and operator programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
