What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist School position at ATD Technology LLC?
We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the team at Riverdale Elementary in Thornton, Colorado. This is a full-time opportunity supporting an intensive preschool classroom serving children ages 3–5.
The SLP will work directly within the classroom alongside an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher, providing speech and language support in a collaborative, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide speech and language services to preschool students ages 3–5.
- Work 100% within the classroom setting to support students' communication and language development.
- Collaborate closely with the Early Childhood Special Education Teacher and other school staff.
- Develop and implement individualized speech-language interventions based on student needs.
- Support communication skills across classroom activities and routines.
- Monitor student progress and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators and families as needed.
- Intensive preschool classroom
- AM class: Approximately 5 students
- PM class: Approximately 5 students
- Ages: 3–5 years
- Small caseload with direct classroom-based support
- 100% classroom setting
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Appropriate Colorado SLP licensure/certification required.
- Experience working with preschool or early childhood populations preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a classroom-based special education environment.
