Job Title: Security Architect – Zero Trust & Strategic Security
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of Zero Trust Architecture and strategic security initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in security frameworks, vulnerability management, and experience working on government or municipal projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) models aligned with organizational security goals
- Define and drive security architecture roadmaps and long-term strategic initiatives
- Develop and implement enterprise security architecture frameworks and standards
- Conduct Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) and provide remediation strategies
- Assess and secure SCADA/ICS environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Align security practices with NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) and CIS Controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments
- Provide security recommendations for government/municipal systems and ensure regulatory compliance
- Evaluate and implement security tools such as Nessus, Qualys, and Burp Suite
Required Qualifications:
- CISSP or CCSP certification (Mandatory)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security architecture
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong expertise in Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) design and implementation
- Experience with security roadmap development and strategic planning
- Hands-on experience with VAPT tools and methodologies
- Knowledge of SCADA/ICS security frameworks and risk management
- Deep understanding of NIST CSF and CIS Controls
- Experience working on government or municipal projects
- Proficiency with security tools such as Nessus, Qualys, Burp Suite
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
