Help Desk Analyst

Job Summary:

Provide user support and customer service on company-supported computer applications and platforms.  Troubleshoot problems and advise on the appropriate action.

Responsibilities:

•         Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, or electronically
•         Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
•         Research questions using available information resources
•         Advise user on appropriate action
•         Follow standard help desk procedures
•         Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention to the correct resources
•         Track requests, document progress and solutions using ticketing software
•         Set-up and install computers

Education and Experience:

•         Associates degree, equivalent work experience or highly active computer enthusiast
•         Must have a strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems

The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication, time management and organizational skills; the ability to handle multiple tasks with limited direction; be able to perform in an environment where priorities can change rapidly; complete tasks with a high attention to detail and thoroughness.
