Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join an outpatient orthopedic and sports rehabilitation clinic in Fraser, CO, on a travel contract. The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical procedures, and sports-related conditions, with the goal of restoring mobility, improving strength, and optimizing physical performance. The ideal candidate is patient-centered, adaptable, and experienced in outpatient rehab with a focus on orthopedics and sports medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations to assess mobility, strength, pain levels, and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for orthopedic and sports-related conditions.
- Provide therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional training.
- Educate patients on rehabilitation goals, injury prevention, and home exercise programs.
- Collaborate with physicians, athletic trainers, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated care.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Document patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current and valid Physical Therapist license in Colorado (or compact license).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent outpatient orthopedic or sports rehab experience.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support.
- COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.
- Strong clinical skills in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation techniques.
- Excellent communication, assessment, and organizational skills.
