Job Summary:

We are seeking compassionate and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience in direct support, caregiving, or human services, with a strong commitment to providing compassionate and person-centered care. DSPs provide direct care and support to individuals in their daily lives, helping them achieve personal goals, maintain independence, and participate fully in their communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication administration, and mobility support.

• Implement individualized support plans and follow care instructions to meet each person’s unique needs.

• Promote social engagement, community participation, and skill development.

• Observe, document, and report any changes in individuals’ health, behavior, or well-being.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment.

• Support individuals in achieving personal goals, independence, and self-advocacy.

Qualifications:

• • Diploma is mandatory (relevant field preferred).
  • Understanding of, or willingness to learn, how to support individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in community settings, in accordance with guidelines from the Pennsylvania Office of Developmental Programs.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is mandatory.
  • Previous experience in caregiving, human services, or a related field is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassion, patience, and dedication to supporting individuals with diverse needs.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
