Pushing carts and medical equipment may be a component of the job.Registered Nurses must be able to lift at least 30 pounds; walk up and down the stairs; position patients; walk long distances; and stand for prolonged periods.CPR as required by client facility; health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies.Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skillsAbility to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and computer proficiencyAbility to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling and able to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment.Trauma experience a mustExperience in vascular, orthopedics and Robotics required Must be able to cope with contact with the general public, customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detailPreferred Qualifications:PALS or ENPCRCES/RCIS CertificationOther certifications and licenses may be required for this positionREPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Complies with ATC Healthcare Services policies and procedures.Provides general care services, including assessment, analysis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.Assess healthcare needs of patients through a variety of routine assessments, and develops, implements, and evaluates individualized nursing and health care plans accordingly.Perform health screenings of patients or clients.Respond to emergency healthcare needs of patients.Collect and records data specific to the health status of patients or clients.Administer medications/treatments as prescribed by medical practitioners.Responsibilities will vary depending on department of assignment (e.g., Emergency Room, ICU, etc.).Maintains confidentiality related to patient, family, client facility and staff in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).Complies with accepted ethical conduct and professional standards of nursing practice as set forth by the American Nurses Association or equivalent nursing organization.Provides patient care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that considers cultural diversity and age appropriateness so that autonomy, rights, and dignity are preserved.Performs other duties as assigned.Duties, responsibilities, and activities may vary by assignment and may change at any time with or without notice.Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement patient-centered treatment plansProvide immediate post-procedure care, monitoring complications and ensuring stable recoveryAdhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standardsPerform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice Equal Opportunity Employer: ATC Healthcare Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
