Body Shop Technician / Painter

ATC, Inc. is looking for an experienced Body Shop Technician/Painter to join our team. This position is a great fit for someone with strong body repair, prep, and painting skills who takes pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail.

The right candidate will be dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a busy shop environment on a variety of vehicles and equipment.

What You’ll Do

• Perform body repairs on vehicles, trucks, trailers, RVs, and related equipment
• Prepare surfaces for paint, including sanding, masking, priming, and refinishing
• Mix, match, and apply paint according to repair requirements
• Repair dents, panels, fiberglass, metal, and other body components as needed
• Perform minor fabrication or welding work when applicable
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work independently while maintaining high-quality standards
• Communicate repair needs, progress, and concerns with the shop team

What We’re Looking For

• Previous body shop, collision repair, refinishing, or painting experience preferred
• Experience with paint preparation, color matching, spraying, and finishing
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to perform body repair, sanding, masking, priming, and paint work
• Fiberglass, metal repair, fabrication, or welding experience is a plus
• Ability to use body shop tools, paint equipment, hand tools, and power tools
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
