Registered Nurse - PCU

Position Overview

ATC Healthcare is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses (RNs) for contract opportunities within Sentara Health facilities. This role offers flexible scheduling while providing high-quality patient care in fast-paced telemetry units. Ideal candidates are clinically strong, adaptable, and thrive in dynamic acute care environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition, including emergency situations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-care instructions

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific)
• Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry experience in an acute care setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to different unit environments

Schedule & Assignment Details

• Per diem / PRN shifts (day, night, and weekend availability may vary)
• Flexible scheduling based on facility needs and clinician availability
• Pay $61/hr
