Service Areas:
Choctaw County, Butler, Gilbertown, Pennington, Toxey, Needham Lisman, Silas and surrounding areas.
Job responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Providing personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and mobility support depending on Patient care plan
- Help prepare nutritious meals and assist with medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean environment
- Offer meaningful companionship and emotional support
- Assist with transportation to medical appointments and errands
- Document care provided and communicate with healthcare team
- Follow individualized care plans to meet each client's unique needs
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- A genuine desire to help others
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility
- Patience, empathy, and professional demeanor
- Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
This Job Is:
- A good fit for applicants with gaps in their resume, or who have been out of the workforce for the past 6 months or more
- A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education
- A job for which all ages, including older job seekers, are encouraged to apply
- Open to applicants who do not have a High School diploma
This is a Medicaid Waiver Program and pay $10.00 an hour with no mileage.
