Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various metalworking techniques. This role involves working with different types of metal materials, utilizing advanced machinery, and ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process.
Responsibilities
- Operate shears and cutting equipment to shape and cut metal components according to specifications.
- Assemble metal parts and structures using specified techniques, ensuring structural integrity and quality.
- Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet required standards and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in metalworking preferred
- Familiarity with shears/saws, and other metal fabrication methods is highly desirable.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations during the production process.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Experience with quality inspection processes to ensure product excellence.
- Previous experience preferred- will train the right candidate
