Job Title: MANAGER - GLOBAL SOLUTIONSSUPERVISIONPosition functions semi-autonomously and has no direct reports.TRAVELPeriodic travel up to 25% is required.COMPANY DETAILSThe company is a leading provider of high-touch, door-to-door logistics and freight forwarding solutions headquartered in Richmond, VA and has been in this industry since 2003.POSITION OVERVIEWThe Manager, Global Solutions (GSM) is accountable for developing new and securing incrementalrevenue and market share through promotion and sales of all services and products to establish andtarget accounts.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESTo perform this job successfully, an individual must satisfactorily perform each essential duty.Reasonable accommodation will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform theessential duties.Model and act in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.Identify business opportunities and generate profitable sales in both new and existing accountsto meet and exceed new business revenue goals.Assist in the development and implementation of sales plans that support increased sales.Build strategic relationships with key contacts within customer organizations to understandopportunities for creating value.Capitalize on value creation opportunities by working closely with the sales and operationsmanagement team to develop creative workable solutions to customer needs.Cross sells the company’s suite of products and services in a global team environment.Monitor and review customer sales activity and make strategy adjustments as needed.
