ATA Martial Arts is part of the world’s largest martial arts organization with over 1,000 licensed schools globally. We are seeking a passionate and professional Head Instructor / School Manager to lead our Bentonville location. This individual will oversee daily school operations, ensure high-quality instruction, and inspire students of all ages to achieve their goals through martial arts and life skills training.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, instruct, and motivate students of all ages in Taekwondo classes aligned with ATA curriculum and standards.
- Supervise, train, and mentor assistant instructors and team members.
- Manage daily school operations, including class scheduling, student retention, and safety.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and family-oriented environment that reflects ATA’s core values: Respect, Confidence, and Discipline.
- Conduct student testing, graduations, and events with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Engage in community outreach and assist with marketing initiatives to grow the student base.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve monthly enrollment, retention, and revenue goals.
- Maintain facility cleanliness, safety, and organization standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3rd Degree Black Belt (ATA Certified Instructor preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience running or managing a martial arts school.
- Proven ability to lead and develop staff in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with adults and children.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Must be professional, reliable, and embody the ATA vision of teaching life skills through martial arts.
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
Schedule & Compensation
- Hours: Monday–Saturdays hours will be provided
- Compensation: $45,000 - $50,000 salary based on experience and rank, plus performance-based incentives.
