Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to our female client in Royse City. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively with individuals with various needs, including developmental disabilities. Needs to have proper communication with the client all the time and assist based on the client's need.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs and overall health status.
- Make clients' appointments and take client's to their appointments.
- Medication reminders to patients as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Observe and report any changes in clients' conditions or behaviors to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Assist clients in mobility, including lifting or transferring individuals as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in community events when appropriate.Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a group home, home care or nursing home setting is preferred.
- Must drive, have a good driving record, and reliable vehicle.
- Must have Active Driving License and Insurance.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is desirable.
- Experience with patient observation techniques and understanding of vital signs monitoring is beneficial.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols is an asset.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals who have developmental disabilities or other disabilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Must be physically capable of lifting clients as needed and performing tasks that require physical stamina.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
