Deburr Technician – Precision Manufacturing
A well-established precision manufacturing facility is seeking experienced Deburr Technicians to support high-quality production for aerospace applications.
The Deburr Technician is responsible for cleaning, deburring, polishing, and finishing precision metal components to meet strict specifications. This hands-on role requires the use of manual, electric, and pneumatic tools to ensure all parts meet quality, safety, and documentation requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review work orders and verify all prior operations are complete and approved
- Select appropriate tools and equipment per job requirements
- Deburr, grind, polish, and hand-finish precision metal parts per specifications
- Smooth edges and surfaces to required tolerances
- Produce and present first-article parts for supervisor approval
- Inspect finished components for compliance with drawings and build documentation
Required Skills & Abilities
- Proficient with hand-finishing and deburring tools (electric and pneumatic), including grinders and sanders
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to inspect precision parts to specification
- Basic math skills
- Effective written and verbal communication in English
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Familiarity with machine shop environments and manufacturing documentation
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
