What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hot Dog Cart Manager position at At Random Cocktail Lounge?
At Random Cocktail Lounge, a Bay View institution since 1964, is looking for an entrepreneurial spirit to add to our amazing staff to build a food program for our brand new hot dog cart! This is a role with tip earning potential for a candidate with the right skills and experience to create a seamless order-to-service food operation.
A great candidate for this position has a strong sense of hospitality, experience with the creative and business aspects of menu building, as well as kitchen management experience. This is a comprehensive management position requiring a wide range of skills and expertise as a customer facing role. We work hard to provide the kind of hospitality that keeps our customers coming back year after year. Now we’re looking for the right person to help us serve some delicious food with the same level of passion we have for serving great cocktails.
In order to succeed here, you have be into working at At Random, to be as excited about working at At Random as our guests are to be visiting At Random. If you don’t love it here, it just won’t work out. You’ll be unhappy and we’ll be unhappy. We know this and now you do too.
In addition, we have some nuts and bolts requirements for this position:
✨ You have kitchen management experience or experience in advanced line positions (such as a sous chef). Customer-facing and POS experience is a plus!
✨ You have menu development, ordering, costing, and inventory experience
✨ You hold a ServSafe Food Manager Certification or are able to get one within two weeks of your start date
✨ You have evening availability on Fridays and Saturdays and are available Sundays.
✨ You are a people person who loves to make people happy.
✨ You are willing to dedicate the time it takes to learn our systems.
