What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychotherapist position at At Peace Therapy, PLLC?
At Peace Therapy is looking for a seasoned therapist who values both autonomy and the support and structure of working in a small group practice. At Peace Therapy endeavors to create a quiet, peaceful atmosphere for both clients and—importantly—its clinicians. I offer a supportive and caring space for you to be a therapist and explore your needs within this profession. I ask you to see between 19-23 clients a week with some agency to create a schedule that works for you and allows for work-life balance.
At Peace Therapy requires you to be:
Licensed in Illinois
Interested and experienced in working with adult individuals
Experience providing individual therapy to clients in one-on-one setting
Experience working with clients presenting with anxiety, depression, grief and loss and trauma
Interest in exploring how a client’s past is influencing their thoughts, behaviors and experiences today
Ability to meet clients with curiosity and presence
Ability to meet client where they are emotionally
Ability to work independently
At Peace Therapy provides:
Yearly stipend towards Continuing Education
Weekly supervision and support outside scheduled supervision
Small team environment
Competitive salary (compensation is dependent on total number of clients seen and their insurance providers)
Remote work only (with an intention to offer in-person therapy in the future)
